Part hunting

I find myself scouring the web for parts, and I landed here. Still, no parts yet, but I'm not giving up. I check the parts classified, but it seems it is not updated.
Old links, and sold items, that are not marked sold. It's ok, I'll keep trolling, seems like a nice group on this page. I have the obscure 1963 F85, new find for me. Anyhow, I'm looking for rear bumper, and hood as a priority.

Welcome. Unfortunately, the 1961-1963 F-85s are very difficult to find parts for, as the are not a popular restoration item. There are NO repro sheet metal parts available, so good used is your only option. The 61-62 cars share most sheet metal, but the 63s are pretty much one-year-only for body parts, except for the roof and glass. It's even difficult to find normal replacement parts like brake shoes and shocks. FYI, the 63 steering parts are different from the 61-62 cars also. Good luck. I've got a 62, so I understand the frustration. Don't be surprised if you have to buy a complete parts car to get good sheet metal parts.

Welcome, not sure where you are from - this used parts website may help - do a USA search - looks like there may be some parts out west.

The rear bumper is there, but is rotted on both ends, nothing left.
Also I just found out today that the fuel tank cannot be salvaged, bad news from the acid dipper.

Thanks. Learning everyday, I take the challenge. I have a good base to start with, so I'm hopeful.

The 1961-63 Cutlass/F-85 and same year Buick Skylark/Special tanks should all be the same. Note that there are two different kinds of sending units, one with a fuel return line and one without.

Welcome. A quick Google search "1963 F85 Hood site:craigslist.org" found 2 parts cars, 1 in Nashville and 1 in Sacramento.
