Paint codes and numbers for 72 442's

Hello..new to the site. Thanks for having me. I am having a hard time finding information on 72 442 paint codes and amount of cars built. In other words, how many cars were built for each paint code? Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Thanks Scot. Was wondering if it's worth changing colors or staying factory.

My opinion on the matter is if it is original, keep it original. If the car has been repainted a different color or if the engine has been replaced then paint it the color you want. Overall it is your car, you are the caretaker of it until you are not and you should do to it what makes you happy. Welcome aboard by the way

Paint codes are easy:

As noted, production numbers of each color do not exist. The question about changing the color comes up a lot. How much this affects value depends. If the original color is baby-poop brown, any color change will likely improve value. Seriously, if the car is painted any of the correct factory available colors for the model year, it typically does not devalue the car. In fact, both OCA and AACA do not deduct points for a color change to another factory available color. Obviously, the color of the interior must harmonize with the exterior color. I've seen too many cars with green interiors that were painted some clashing exterior color like blue.
