Oldsmobile Ninety Eight 98 Rear LH Quarter Body Corner Extension Panel Left
My driver’s side Rear LH Quarter Body Corner Extension Panel For my 1976 98 Regency has broken. I’ve been looking for a replacement. I can only find on for a ‘77 98 Regency. I know sometimes parts fit a range of years. Will the ‘77 quarter body corner extension fit a ‘76? If not, does anyone know where I can find the part for my ‘76?

Are you talking about this part? Made of plastic and has deteriorated on pretty much any vehicle of that vintage?
There are several places that sell reproductions of these, but they are usually made of fiberglass instead of the softer plastic the originals were made from. However, they do work, although they might require a little trimming. I needed a set for my '78 Toronado, and the body shop did a great job of fitting them in place. I bought them from this place:

Jaunty is correct, these parts deteriorate on all GM cars. Here's another supplier. I haven't heard any reviews on them though.
