Olds 73 calling out for help!!
A Big Hello to everyone who makes this site awesome! LaVarr is here coming atcha all the way from NC. I was scrolling and I saw this site. I don't think you can top advice and encouragement from individuals who understand what it feels like to have an Oldsmobile from the 70 era. I am amongst greatness and I say thank you in advance.73 Oldsmobile Delta 88 base model. 2brrl Rochester was in it when purchased some years back. This has been a slow.....Slow process. Just decided to really dedicate time money and effort to get her running where I feel comfortable driving her without it shutting off on me. Gotta wait 2 hours before she will start again. Carburetor I figured out finally.
Honestly I need help putting it back together. And questions about intake...2711 or 7111? I read alot still not confident on choosing correct intake. Tips on leak prevention? Upgrade distributor? Cheap advance auto parts dist. And cap on there now. I have demon carb 600cfm. I bought mr gasket throttle cable kit.. alot of pieces. I'm lost man. Can't find a YouTube video anywhere to give me examples of it being installed on any carb. I don't want to guess. I want to do it right. Any and all help I consider it good help. Thank you everyone

Welcome, we look forward to seeing pics. You might want to start a separate thread in the SBO forum. It would probably get more views and you'll get some good advice choosing an intake and setting up your carburetor.
