North Carolina new guy

I picked up this 72 cutlass in September. I am in my mid 50's and between kids and career I have never had the opportunity, time, knowledge or money to be able to get a muscle car. I'm not getting any younger so I just did it. The pictures show it as I purchased it. It has an auto zone rebuilt 350 cu engine complete with receipt for $1900.00 and some warranty left, an Edelbrock carb, flowmaster dual exhaust and 18" crager wheels. All of the lights and markers worked except the backup lights. I am not sure what I want to do with it yet but here is what I have done so far.

Complete new front suspension, I used Moog parts.
Energy suspension polyurethane bushings, front and rear.
Replaced the steering box with a 12.7:1 ratio box out of a 98 Grand Cherokee.
Eibach springs and KYB shocks all the way around.

I am open to any and all suggestions, this is all new to me.

You have made some good decisions so far.
The interior looks complete. I would not change it out until it starts to fad, crack, etc.. Unless you just want to throw money at it.

What do you want it for? daily driver, weekend warrior, etc..
Welcome to CO, lots of tips and advice on this site.

Dan:
My post was not very clear. The receipt for the engine showed that the previous owner paid $1900.00 for the engine. I wish I could have paid that little for the car but no such luck.

yea i would not waste time with the interior right now till it start to gives way.....It works really well with the paint scheme of your car. Looks real nice so unless its ripping or showing signs of deteriation concentrate on more important things like replacing tires from smoky burn outs and such............LOL

Old thread, I know...but wanted to say hi. I was looking at the user map and saw you might be around me here in Charlotte. I am only a few minutes away from the airport, but was just up in Concord a week ago. Maybe we can meet up sometime because everyone else in NC apparently is from Raleigh. If you know of anyone else in the area here, let me know so I can add them to my list. Might need someone to come take a look at mine once I get it from PA. Thanks! BTW, nice colors...one of my favorite combos.
