New guy from North Carolina
I've been lurking on this site for a little while, thought I'd finally post. You guys have a cool site going on. I have a '66 Olds 98 2 door hardtop that I've had for a little while now. I run accross this site while surfing the net looking for parts. As far as cars are concerned, I'm into anything old.
Welcome to the site Shawn! Lots of great Olds info on here, Cutlass-based or otherwise.
While pics are always welcome, some folks (like myself) are suckers for details....motor/trans? colors? where'd ya get it? Stuff like that.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, let's see what four will do!
The stock 425 is still under the hood, the interior is rough, the body is awesome, and the paint has a pretty cool patina. To my understanding it was last painted in the 80's. I am the second registered owner. Obviously it's lowered, about 3 inches in the front and 5 inches in the rear. Dual exhaust with bellflower tips. Future plans are uncertain at this time.

Sampson, I'm from Lincolnton which is about 30 miles from Charlotte. Thanks for the positive replies folks. It appears that an engine rebuild is in the near future for the 98, low compression on cyl.#3, leakdown test shows it's in the bottom, we'll see how this plays out.
