No! I’m the new Guy

Hi everyone,
im the new Guy here. My real name is Guy so I can for sure say I’m the new Guy...

I’m new to Oldsmobile as an adult but my dad had this ‘73 Olds Omega with a Rocket 350 4bbl hydra350 trans that kicked ***. I was learning to drive and he bought that Omega hatch back to load drums since I was just learning how to play.
I remember reading the brochure and he was saying “they talked me into the bigger engine”. From a stand still you could punch it and it would burn the tires beautifully. As a knuckle head after my father passed away I sold that car to get rid of it. Oh well here I am looking for another Olds as s driver not a show car. I’ve been lurking on this forum site for a couple of days now and I look forward to all the great advise and knowledge I will get from all of you on here.
Looking for a 1970 Olds 442 455ci, 4 speed hard top or convertible in the near future. No rush just doing the research to prepare.

Guy

hi tdHill, I’m in N. VA just outside of Washington DC.
I’m looking for a good reliable driver type Olds 442. I will be asking lot of rookie questions.

Welcome to the group... Good luck with your search... There's a lot of good info here relating to the 70 A-Body vintage...

When you are ready just let people on this site know you are looking to buy. A member of this forum helped me find my '70 442 by pointing out a Craigslist ad. Keep an eye on the classifieds too.

Guy, welcome. Search for what you dream of, but don't be afraid to get something that catches your eye.
