Newbie warning!

Hello everyone, just trying to figure out some answers to questions I have about a 1970 Oldsmobile Delta 88 2-Door that I will be getting on Monday. I live in Ontario, Canada and currently have about 3 feet of snow so won't be getting to work on it soon enough. I am new to classic car restoration but do motorcycle restoration currently so just trying to spread the wings a little. I decided to join as it seemed to be the best spot out there! The car runs and drives, have new springs and shocks with the car (not put in yet), needs a gas tank and some exhaust to be perfect. I am going to probably leave the paint and body alone as it has some interesting pin striping on it. I am excited to get to work on it and get to drive it this summer. Take care everyone!

Welcome barfass, where in the great province of ONTARIO are you from? We all have about 3 feet of snow so that doesn't seperate you from the rest of us. Nice project and should be a fun toy.

Definitely wasn't complaining about the snow! hahaha. Seems to be a decent winter this year as last was horrible. I am located in Brockville. Take care and look forward to this project!
