Newbie from Tucson
Howdy all! Just registered after buying my "new" 1985 Toronado. I bought it from a guy in CA. Has 67K miles...runs awesome. Exterior needs painting (it's a very very dark gray) and a new simulated convertable top. I'm having that recovered next week. Interior is Claret leather...in very good shape. Love it!
This is my second Olds. My first was an '85 Cutlass Supreme 4dr. My dad inherited it from his aunt back in 1990 and I drove it most of the time. Had the wimpy 3.8L V6...but was still a nice car. It was my high school hot rod...haha.
Feel free to say hi. Nice to meet all of ya!

Thanks! It's actually in very good shape aside from the outside which needs to be painted badly. The woman that bought it originally only used it in the winter in WI because it is front wheel drive so it does have some road salt damage. I'm getting the top replaced next week (vinyl simulated convertible) and I'll have it repainted in a few months.
Mechanically it's very sound. It just needs some normal stuff like a new radiator that is just starting to leak, valve cover gaskets, and tie rod and idler arm work. Otherwise she runs awesome.
I love the 307 V8...it's such a smooth engine.
