Newbie from San Diego

Hi everyone,

I'm in the midst of rebuilding my 1964 Dyanmic 88 convertible so thought it about time I joined in here. Pictures of the rebuild can be seen here:
https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...ynamic-88.html

If you have any comments or advice I'm all ears (and eyes).

Regards,
Chipowpow

Thanks

Yeah it's the perfect car out here in Del Mar. When it's finished will drive it all the way up the California coast. The only flare I added to it so far was switching it from a 2 barrel to a 4 barrel (still a correct Rochester original) and adding dual exhaust (nothing correct about that but why not!).

Thanks guys. Who should I ask about the proper decal/plating to go on the air filter cover? The numbers on my engine block are for a two barrell but I've upgraded it with the the Rochester 4-barrel. Seems many of you like the following site for finding parts...
http://www.fusick.com/catfile/Catalo...Layout%201.pdf
Fusick has different options for the plating to go on the air filter cover. Which do you guys suggest?

Also, my mechanic who is helping with the overhaul was able to secure a used correct air filter cover that sits over the carb for $360. Doesn't that seem really high?

'66

Your '66 looks sweet. When my '64 is finished we'll have to meet up just where you took you picture on Harbor Island and take some shots of them together!

Hey how you doin? I'm also from San Diego. I'm working on a 1962 Dynamic. You're car is coming out nice. I had a question, how did you do the dual exhaust? I was told I had to find an exhaust manifold off a 63 or 64 starfire to get true dual exhausts. Or buy custom headers. I would appreeciate your information. Thanks.
