newbie in san antonio texas

hello from s.a., i was left a 67 98 town sedan from my uncle. it is cameo ivory w/ turquoise interior.options include Capacitor Discharge System, cornering lights,tach-clock combination, remote outside mirror, convenience group, door edge guards, am radio, front floor mats, guard beam frame, h.d. rear springs, 2.73 rear axle, soft tinted glass, a.c.,and power seats. it was and is garaged 24/7. it has been outside 4 times over night. no one had ever sat in the back seat until now, they did not have children. great car and a lot of memories. i am looking for the location of 8 track tape player. if any body has a picture of one installed it would be great if you could post a picture. thanks, keith

Welcome to the site Keith! Wow, now that's what I call loaded with options Please post pictures when you can. Things seem to go in spurts.... a while back we had a lot of new members with 1969 Cutlass/442's join. At the moment it seems like we're having Texans crawl out of the woodwork with cool cars John

Welcome to CO, Keith! Sounds like a great Oldsmobile! Yep, a few of us natives on CO; although it certainly is not a requirement. This site is the greatest.

It must have something to do with the two "big freezes" and "big thaws" we have got lately...

Welcome aboard! Post pics when you can.

Tomorrow looks like tops-down weather (in the 70's), so I might score brownie points with Alice on the way to her V-day and B-day dinner!

Wow. CDI and the tach option- unusual to say the least. Now, is this a plain Town Sedan or a Luxury Sedan? Look and see if it has a tissue box and vanity mirror built in to the back of the front seat- if so it is a Luxury Town Sedan.

Bound to think it is a striking car in that color combo.
