Newbie from Ohio

Hello,
I have been a reader of the forum for quite sometime and finally am here.
A little intro: my name is Dave from cinti oh. I currently don't even own a cutlass but hope to really soon. As my user name states, 72 notchback is what I am looking to buy but might settle on a 71. I used to own a 71 supreme back in the early 90's and have wanted to restore/ drive one for many years since. I am looking forward to doing a minor restore. I have a decent amount of hands on experience and a nice little network of friends in various fields of the car business. I just need the right car to come along and it shall start.

Can't wait to dive into some threads and start meeting folks.

Thanks
Dave

Keep a sharp lookout for the Olds you want! And, remember - the OCA Nationals are in Cincinnati in the summer of 2014! If my friends are still living in Lawrenceburg ,I'm planning on being a spectator there as well!

Thanks everyone.
UnkleMarc455- I am looking for a 72 supreme but would consider a 71 too. I really don't want to tackle a complete resto but would love something drivable that requires some TLC. I can deal with engine and interior issues but the more body work the less desirable it will be to me. Budget is probably about 6k max right now. In a perfect world I would love a 350 rocket with black interior bench or buckets. Probably not going to get many to agree with me but I actually think I like the bench more. Exterior color is not too important because I would plan to repaint it fairly soon.

I wish I could post a link because there is a fairly nice looking driver in Cleveland that I really am considering and would love to get everyone's opinions.

1972 Oldsmobile cutlas 2-door sedan. Has 85,213 miles on it. All the interior is original and is in good condition. Clean title. The engine has less then 10,000 miles on it and has been kept up. Please call if you are interested I am asking $6000 OBO. DO NOT TEXT OR EMAIL CALLS ONLY PLEASE. CALL: (909)518-3522
