newbie from northern California

Hello new guy from California looking for parts for my third olds project.72 cutlass ,bringing home the 455 rocket from the machine shop this week.need small things ,ashtray door,rock shield ,grill.any ideas on column to floor shift conversion ?.just landed a original console and dual gate shifter =D.

No way... I'm in Vacaville too. I just finished putting my 69 cutlass back together. A couple of weeks away from putting paint on. We should meet up at some point and check out the rides.

i am.first real from ground up motor rebuild.had a 350rocket,first 455 olds ,heard its an experience !!

Welcome B, this is the best place to get your info for your Olds. Post your motor specs so others will chime in to help with rest of the power combo. Trans, torque converter, rear end and tire size. I'll post my pics soon too. We gotta get Fish on here but he don't want his wife blowin his doors off the chevelle, but i know it already is

That's a bit farther from home than I'm willing to drive my car right now. I think I'd be good with going to Sac, but that's probably about it. Besides the fact that's it's going to take a good chunk of change just to drive that far in the first place.

I have a friend in Williams that I sold my last 72 Cutlass to, you may have seen it around. Its silver with white top and stripes.
