sorry for the late replies but trying to navigate this site is new to me. I have 4 rides they are all 1970 442's one is a restored 442 conv. the others are drivers in need of restoration.1970 w-30 conv,1970 w-30 hdt auto, and 1970 w-30 4spd post.

Thanks for the welcome. The original owner of the orange W30 was in a minor fender bender in the early '80s and decided to change the paint color from Burgundy mist(original color) to the color you see today. It has all the original equipment including the motor, drive train, carb, dist, alt., etc. The red W30 post has a spare motor and 4 speed trans that are built to the original W30 specs. The original motor and trans are safely stored away.

Welcome. Is it really a non-original orange or is it Rally Red, which was an available color in 1970?

Welcome to the site, Joe. That's some stable ya got there, congratulations! Beautiful cars. I watched all 9:04 of that convertible walk around....sharp car!
What did you run in that race? Couldn't read the time and I thought I heard "13.." something. Seemed quicker than that. Very impressive.

Thanks again. the e.t if I remember is 13.39 . The quickest time I have run is 12.80 @ 104 mph with a 3.08:1 rear diff.

WOW! 12's with a 3.08 rear? That's pretty impressive. TH400?

Yes the car has a TH400 with a mild shift kit and a 2000 rpm torque converter.
