Name is Thad, and i have a few cars including a 69 442 convertible , currently being restored.
I have been more knowlegeable on the GTO's and GS's but need to brush up on my Olds info as i am wanting to stay correct to my originality.
Hope to talke to some of ya in the future.

Thanks and sadly i do not have any nice pics of anything worty of sharing. Car has been apart since 2009 and the pics of the car are stuck on an old backup harddrive somewhere.
The project also got put on hold when my dad got ill and passed a few years ago.
I am just now getting interest back to work on it.

The chassis is nearly done just needs a fresh coat of paint from sitting and the body is in primer ln the rotisserie.

Welcome to CO

Glad you're pursuing it. Buick is awesome too. Any help we can give is our pleasure.

Welcome to the site Thad. As far as pictures go, we don't care. We like piles of junk and hope, and the other end of the spectrum, finely done paint and hope!

So, get with it and get er done.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Ill have to dig up that hard drive and transfer those pics sometime.
The car is pretty solid and othet than some npdywork and paint, most major assembly can happen.
Engine is ready to go on the stand, tranny is rebuilt, as is the rear.
So just how rare is this triple black 69' convertible? From what i have been reading there were not many.
