69 cutlass S 455 swap headers

Hello from Southeast Missouri
Found very helpful info on putting my 69 back together but after my son 18 yrs old blew up two 350's I'm putting an a 455 and taking the keys back LOL
I've searched hours for info on what headers will fit my 69s I'm dropping in a 455
And can't seem to find any headers with that application does anyone have any suggestions of what would fit I understand the break proportions valve issue and also probably a smaller starter but can't find info on headers any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Welcome to the site, this is a common question. The 455 headers for any Cutlass, 442, S, CS, F85, etc will fit. Disregard the manufacturers notes for the 68's and up as they have been incorrect for years.

Header fitment

I put Hooker headers, model 3902, on my '68 442 with original BB 400. They should fit your project also. I also installed a Pypes X-crossover, 2.5" system at the same time. Fits great!

Welcome. Any headers that fit a 1969 442 (with the 400 motor) also fit a 455. All big block Olds motors are externally identical. Also, read this thread before buying motor mounts for your 455.
