A couple of comments:

1. I don't think Olds ever made a 384. Do you mean 394?

2. It would help A LOT if you would tell us the year of the car and what kind of parts (body, trim, mechanical) you're looking for.

Assuming you mean 394 and it's a Super 88, we're talking 1959 to 1964 as possible years for your car. There are lots of people on here who can help you, but you do need to be a bit more specific if you expect any real help.

The first place to look when seeking Olds parts is Fusick's.

I am having trouble picturing in my mind the part you describe as "the two brackets that are at the rear end on the drive line." Could you be a little more specific? What purpose does the part serve/what does it do?

These Blackets hold the drive line together to the rear end axel.

Evishen, do you mean the arms that hold the rear end housing to the car's frame? The upper ones bolt to the top of the axle housing and then to two ears on the car frame at the axle kick-up. Lower ones attach to the axle tubes near the brake drums and to brackets on the frame rails.

Engine parts are available but not cheap. Trim is 1964-only. Most mechanical parts are reasonably easy to find and often are used on other similar year Oldsmobiles.

And yeah, some of us realise that 8 and 9, and m and n, are adjacent on a keyboard and we move on.
