Newbie here :)
Hi all...
I just got my very first Oldsmobile, a 1957 88. Already tackling a few things that need work before she is ready. Our mission is to get her back on the road as a daily driver. I've decided my time on the road is to lengthy not to be making the most of it. Already had an engine/trans swap, front updated to discs and few other things before I got her. As you can tell I'm less about matching numbers and more about vintage style meets newer drive-ability. Can't wait to get her on the road.

Welcome! Lots of help here. Forget about that matching numbers stuff, just get it running and enjoy the ride!
Whoa: While I was typing, you were posting pics. Very very nice car!!!

From those few photos, it doesn't look like the car needs much of anything to get back on the road. Exactly what does it need? A tank of gas?
That car, from what we can see of it in those rather claustrophobic photos, looks way too nice to be used as a daily driver.
By the way, there's no such thing as "matching numbers" on a '57 Oldsmobile. It wasn't until the late '60s ('69?) that VIN derivatives were stamped on the engine and drivetrain.
