Newbie from Georgia

Hey guys. I’m a newbie in being a mechanic as well as caring for a family heirloom. It’s a 1984 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Brougham. Unfortunately, I will be asking plenty of questions. She isn’t on the road right now, but I’m fighting for her.

Welcome from the Atlanta area. Love that era of big Olds.

I grew up riding in this car with my grandma. I absolutely love the generation. I can’t wait to get it back on the road and add more to my collection.

Unfortunately, I only have the one picture while it was still clean. I haven’t been concerned with washing it with the paint in the condition it’s in. Haha. The motor runs. Just no transmission that works.

That’s my oldest son on it.
it’s got the 307 with 146000 original miles on the whole car. I’m excited to raise a new generation of Oldsmobile lovers

Love the picture. It's funny to us old people here that that car is old. Thanks for carrying the torch. 👍

I can only imagine the feeling. I’ve got a 97 c1500 as well that my kids call my old truck. It’s the same age as me. It makes me feel old already. Haha!
