Welcome! That's great.
We need younger ones to
pick up the reins for Oldsmobile.
What a great first car to boot.
Perfect car to learn the basics on Automobiles.

thanx!!! I thought so too. he will be getting large dose of information...car needs upper and lower control arms and bushings (I've not done that before), as well as a tune up. We installed a new fuel pump yesterday..old wasn't gettin the job done. car only as 59K miles on it. interior is almost perfect, an a/c car (not hooked up...not sure what is wrong with it) needs small amount of body work. otherwise, general replacement of stuff.

Welcome Aboard.
67 CS. So your's would be the Holiday sedan? Always liked them better than the Town Sedan. Post some pics when you get a chance, and be sure to start a thread on the rebuild.
Seems like the old cars with really low miles are starting to make a comeback lately. You sure on the miles?

have no idea if it is a holiday sedan....don't know enough yet to say. it is a post car. as to the miles, thats what the odo says and it does not appear it has clicked over, plus the history on the car from what I am told would indicate that it is a low mileage car. course, someone could have disconnected the odo but i doubt it by who has owned it. thread will be started now on the build in the major build section (don't know if it qualifies as major or not, but is to me and my son.) thanx again everyone!!! one thing is also certain, a whole lot easier to work on than my 96 Cobra Mustang!!!!!!! gotta dig out more old tools.

another interesting irony on the car. when I was growing up, my Dad had a 67 Olds Cutlass Supreme, blue convertible I used to drive so when I sit in this car.....very familiar.

Welcome to CO! We love pictures!

I wish I still had my '67 CS sedan for a father/son project...my son is taking driver's ed right now. He wants a Jeep Wrangler. Hmmmm, maybe the 330 I pulled out of my Olds would fit in a Wrangler

Enjoy the project!

If you can find a 67 Oldsmobile chassis service manual,
it would make a great tool for you and your son.
These things are packed full of everthing you need or
want to know about the car.

Hello, I'm Tim I used to have a few cutlas supreme 83. I enjoyed them very well but I'm always looking for 70's models. Plus I enjoy 71 Monty Carlos to. I believe there both are great cars.

Welcome to C.O. Tim,
Ummm, when you do your first post and introduce yourself? It's supposed to be a new thread, not jumping onto someone else's. That will also give the other members a better chance to see who's new and welcome you aboard. Right now you're 'buried' in this thread.

Now go do that right...
