1968 Delmont 88 Convertible
Hi there! I've been reading this site off and on for tech and research on my car. It was only a matter of time until I fully joined up. A little about my car, I traded a bare bones '68 Holiday S Cutlass for a '68 Delmont 88 convertible and have never looked back.
This is how she looked the day I got her, now she has 20 inch Camaro SS rims. Not much else has been done just yet.

This is possibly one of the coolest cars I have owned.
I am currently looking for some odds and ends for this car just for backups in case (Gods forbid) anything should happen to her.

No offense taken, I'm not a purist in any sense of the word. They are a bit more rim than tire (unlike I had before). I usually associate "donk" with lifted, 26in high, 16 inch wide and all chrome rims.
Believe it or not, they are the same ride height as what I had before, just more rim.

After driving with them for a year I removed the SS rims and went back to the American Racing wheels. While in a junkyard I found some SSIII center caps that I polished up and fit to the wheels. They look pretty cool, like they are right at home.

I was surprised that the camero rims fit your hubs. Can you confirm that the bolt pattern on the camero rims is 5 x 5?
BTW, I'm pleased that you decided to switch back to the previous rims.

I had to get wheel adapters for 5x5 to 5x4 3/4. Also they had to have an offsetto fit correctly. Up front they rubbed like crazy in u turns.

I'm currently running with 15" 5x5 chevy pickup rims on my '67 Delta 88. The tires are 235/70/R15. This is the correct wheel diameter for my application. The wheels (front) slightly rub during tight turns.
I do have nice 15" spoke wheel covers.
