Newbie from Boston

Hi all!
Let me introduce myself.
My name is Dean aka Homestar.
I have a 1972 Cutlass Cruiser (Flat top)and this is my second post.
Enough about me lets talk about the car.
I purchased the car about 9 years ago from a Magazine Ad.
I think it was before Ebay Motors or close to it.
I wish I had waited a few years because there are a lot of good wagons on ebay
now for a fraction of what I have into this car in time and money.
I saved this car from demise.
It was rusty and rotted. (I will show pics when I'm allowed.)
I still have a long way to go. (Progress pics soon)
I prefer survivors over a restored car which is what attracted me to my both my flat top and a Vista I had but sold the Vista.
The 72' Vista Cruiser 'survivor'that I picked 6 years ago I sold again about 3 years ago. It was leaking in the windshield and was too much for me to handle both wagons.
But the Vista had only 55K and was so nice I hated to part ways with it.(Pics soon)
I should have kept the Vista for it's condition but noone would have saved the flattop.
Plus I prefer the Cutlass Cruiser style over the Vista the only problem is having to hear about the Vista as if I have never seen one.
Quote " Hey nice wagon did you know they made these with glass roofs"
My reply is usually sarcastic "A glass roof really?"
Anyway seriously it's time I joined here and I look forward to contributing to posts.

I have found more people know what a Vista is than a 442

Talking Welcome to CO

The flattops are great cars often overlooked. I like the ones that came with the bench seats and 4-speeds, real sleepers. Lets see those pictures

Based on last years show, i wouldnt expect vendors this year. Probably lots next year, but not so sure the prices are reasonable.
