Newbie - 1972 442 Tribute

New guy on the block. My first classic since my 1970 Camaro. Been a long time out of the hobbie, so I'll have tons of questions.

#1. How do I replace the dash lights, none work... Well, they did for a few minutes...

With that, I'll start searching...

Very nice!!! I like the black on black. As for the dash lights. Since they all went out at once I'd check the fuses first, to actually replace the lights, remove the cluster bezel....two screws on the top/underside of bezel...remove each gauge cluster....bulbs are in twist holders in the back of each holder

Welcome to the group... If none of the lights work, I would check the instrument panel fuse...

I think 2 of 3 were working, then went out. Either way, some didn't work, but I'll check the fuse... Thanks fellas...

Oh, how can I finish the 442 conversion? What do I need to look for to finish it up?

Welcome to the site, nice car. On your lights, you didn't unknowingly happen to turn the headlight **** all the way to the right?

This question comes up often and you'd be surprised how many times it happens. I'd go with the fuse for $100 Bob...

If not the fuse, check the grounds connections on the intermediate dash. Could be corroded. Also could be corroded contacts on the gauge pins. If 2 of the 3 were working, I agree it could also have blown the fuse.
