Hi, my name is Ben. from central California.
Just bought a 1946 Oldsmobile sedan coupe I think.
Model # 3607. enjoy this forum, lots of great information.

Thanks everyone.
Working on getting it running, it`s be sitting for about 4 years.
Has flathead 6 cyl. Interior needs lots of work.

It's one or the other, but not both.

Olds offered two-door coupes and sedans in 1946. Note the differences in the rooflines. Comparing to your car, yours is definitely a "club sedan."

Body looks restored. You could put a jet engine under that football field length hood. The right wheels would make that car stunning. You got a great car there. Keep us posted on progress.

Welcome Ben, I'm one of what must be thirty or more 40s fat-fendered Olds owners who mostly hang out at the thread that Citcapp provided the link for.

Send more photos of the 46. Inside, under the hood, underside etc. We all like lots of photos. Looks like some mild customizing has already been done with the hood 'nosed'.
CO is a great site. Hang out with your fat fendered associates but do explore the other forums on the site. A wealth of information and helpful people.

I`m sorry, meant to put Club Sedan. Car is semi custom.
But I want to make it more original.
need to get the Bumpers and a better hood.
will take pictures of engine when I get a chance.
