Does any one happen to know the right spark plug gap size on a v8 307 5.0 engine on a 86 Cutlass Supreme

Spark plug gap for these models with the R46SX plug is pretty large at .080.

Personally, I would never go that big. .040-.045 is what I would suggest.

Would .050 be to big of a gap...

Welcome to C.O. I also saw where they said the gap was recommended .80, but It sounds too large to me . I 've gapped lots of plugs ,but none at .80. I would try them at .45. Larry
