Newb with an 84 Delta 88

Hello from SO Cal. I am the proud 3 owner of this 1984 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale 2 door. It has 120,000 documented miles on the original eng/trans and is still running strong. The car has power everything and ALL the electrical components still work. The original owner was a woman named Laviollete and she bought the car in Oakland, California. She always had the car serviced at the dealership and documented everything. I bought the car off of craigslist from a guy who was tired of the car sitting in his yard. I showed him $800 and he jumped on it. I paid the registration and took it to the smog place. It passed with no problems.

The plans for the car are really simple. SLEEPER. Upgrade the suspension to Impala SS/Caprice 9C1 specs, install a late 60s early 70s 455, TH400, super quiet mufflers, and yeah Im keeping the wire hubcaps and white walls.

Im not new to sleepers at all, my previous car was an 84 Buick Regal T Type 3.8 SFI Turbo. Methanol, 2800 stall, chip, injectors etc etc.

^^Yeah? My 85 wouldn't pass here in PA.

I had the wire wheel covers, but I got bored with them

When I had my Turbo Buick I met a few pals who helped me get around the smog problem.
