newb with 66 f-85

hello to all came across this site via a google search.. i been searching around for a few months now figured i would start posting. i found my car in a garage where it had been sitting since 93.. no motor, no tranny, seems like a bit more of a project then i waanted once i got it home... lol. but she is mine now and i am digging into it will post pics later in the day

I am in tampa fl.

I am going to be starting on the body first. My buddy is in the auto body tech here at the comunity college so imma let him take it there to strip it prime and paint it while I track down the powertrain. I really really wanted to make it original but it not lookin to promising. No front or back seats head liner door panels... might just end up doing custom interior..

You can go either route, all your interior parts are available repo, or you can do it custom. The price is about the same. Find out what interior shops are doing your local car dealers leather upgrades and see if they do custom work. They can do it fast and make it come out nice. Look for donor seat frames, you can either go bench or buckets.
