Hello - I'm from Edmonds, Wa (Just north of Seattle 20 minutes or so).
Here's my 1968 Cutlass Supreme. My grandmother bought it new in 68 at Overlake Oldsmobile in Bellevue Wa after her 64 was totalled. The car had been sitting since 2003 (tabs say 2006, but applying the tabs was as far as anyone got). It has a 310hp 350/Jetaway.
Car is currently at my friends dads shop in Lake Chelan getting all the metal work done. A 425/TH400 will be replacing the 350/jetaway
Here's some photos of the day I got it running and got it home.
Very cool car. Super cool story and background. I love that it has the license plate frame too. You don't see many white 68's. Always love the three spoke steering wheels too. Thanks for sharing. Welcome.
Welcome! Looks like a nice project, it won't need a whole lot from the looks of it. I see shoulder belts. And that C/S interior will be difficult to find repros for (upholstery and door panels), good thing its still in good shape. Don't ignore the timing chain with that many miles on it.
Very nice 68, you don’t see too many 68 Cutlass Supremes, nice interior to boot! I’m partial to the 68’s because that was my first car ( white Cutlass convertible with black top). Don’t throw that original radiator hose away, hang it in your garage for some wall art.

A beautiful car you have, complete with its original SSII 14X6 wheels (many have changed their 68s and 69s to 14X7) and nice to see it's been in the family since day 1! Reminds me of the '68 I have - my parents bought it brand new and somehow it managed to stay in the family all of these years! Keep it and enjoy it. Yours has held up quite well over all this time!

Looking at the bumps under the paint I suspect you can patch rather than replace the quarter panel and likely fender too. Unless there's a bunch of bondo in there from a poorly repaired spot I wouldn't expect a large area to be rotten. Usually there's holes when the rot has gotten really bad.
