new to the site

Hey guys, new to the site just wanted to tell a little bit about myself, I live in Michigan in a small town of Stanwood. I grew up around oldsmobiles and amc's. Right at this present time I have the heart of an olds just not the body i am looking to get one around march or so. Oh sorry the heart is a 1976 455 backed with a th400 out of a 98 regency the motor runs like a top and starts in a half of a crank and the trans is 6 months old so that is a little bit about me . Any ?'s just ask and thanx for letting me join.

What happened to the 98 Regency you got the 455 out of? They are beautiful cars.

Hey thanx guys. Well i'm not happy about the choice i had to make. I sent it to the scrap yard the body was more rust than metal and much more but the main reason was so i could take care of my kids and wife sorry not ment to be a sob story, but i did keep the motor so i could start a project when i get a little more stable. I would love a 67 to 72 cutlass but i could get the chevy boys all wriled up and put the motor in an 80 two door caprice so it has some real power.

Talking Welcome to CO

What kind of Olds are you loooking for. I'm partial to 40"s & 50's Olds myself. We have a large cross section of Olds guys on site and we all want to hear your tale.

Welcome to co I got into oldsmobiles when I got my 67 delmont 88 and it went from there. But I have been into the classic cars right along.I like the old vehicles they have more character not the tin bubbles on the road now.I temporarily own three delmonts one was for parts for my project.I know you will know what you want when you find it. good luck with your search there seem to be cars needing a heart
