Welcome to C.O. ,the greatest site anywhere for Oldsmobile Owners. Congratulations on your purchase of the Starfire. I live in Columbia, less than 50 miles from Nashville. You will soon learn that we love pictures of your new ride. Best of luck, and we welcome questions.

Welcome to the group... Is your 66 Starfire a project car or ready for the road?

Congrats, but it ain't true without pictures. Please, share some pics of how your '66 Starfire currently looks and also share your ideas and thoughts of what you might want to do with it.

the car is a project at this time

the car was owned by my uncle and parked in a barn for 16 years
after his death my brother bought the car and had it redone
ie; rebuilt motor new interior new paint

but alas he had an electrical issue and parked it at my dads house
where it has sat for the last 7-8 years untouched

so now i will start all over as long s the floors are still good

It looks to be in great shape, the electrical problems are usually not an expensive fix. Just time consuming.
