Wink New from S Fla

My screen name is unusual to commemorate a 57 that I once owned. Coupe J-2 went like hell but had a worn out front suspension. Bought for $50. (I'm old) with a NC title. Found the tie downs under the mat in the trunk and bullet holes in the trunk (fiberglassed over) on the outside after I got her home. Screen name is in honor of her Moonshineolds!

Welcome, a lot of us are older, not old. Although not a requirement, do you have an Olds now?

Spend any time on this site, and you'll quickly discover that your screen name is not at all unusual. For one thing, it's pronounceable.

Hi Guys

To answer the above

No I don't have a OLDS at present but am very close to pulling the trigger on one. This site has been invaluable in OLDS knowledge so I can make a good buy. --Thanks to all.

Present cars

73 Plymouth Roadrunner GTX 440. presently for sale because It's just too nice (and valuable) to use as a local show driver. Numbers matching and occasionally kicking an original 52k miles car in the butt just don't go together. Also S Fla weather with lots of showers. Original vinyl roof. I respect the originality of the car too much. Its in cars on line.

1940 Buick street rod with a HO 454 Chevy engine. This is my favorite driver lots of go with 4 wheel disks, fast steering and tight suspension. Took her to Turkey Rod Run this year about 400 Miles--what a blast!

I do about 100 car shows a year with the two cars. Lots of small shows with some big ones too.

Had the 57 Olds that I choose to create my handle as well as a 51 Coupe in my youth that I shared some great adventures in.

MERRY CHRISTMAS
Chuck

Welcome to CO Chuck.
Any old pics of the "Moonshine" Olds?
Or any of your other cars would be cool too.
