New ozzy kid on the block
Hello fellow Olds fanatics.
My 1st thread.
Feels good joining such a big network support group.
Kym's the name, and I have recently purchased a 62 Olds Holiday Coupe from Arizona and had it imported to my place of residence in South Australia, Australia.
Love the car, but it is fitted with aftermarket rims and low profiles that I would like to replace them "if possible" with original style rims to accommodate the original style hubcaps and clips.
The caps and clips are available, but no luck sourcing rims.
As far as I can see, the rims should be 14x6 with a 3 1/4 offset/backspace (standard drums fitted)...correct?
Are they available used or reproduction, or do I just settle for fitting non-original style caps and rims to the car?
Any info or leads would be very appreciated.

G-day Kym, welcome.
Heaps of info here and heaps of help.
And yes, some photos?
There are a few from Aus on this site. Also there are a few places down your way to get parts as well, however usually cheaper from the States if you dont mind waiting a little longer, but I've had no dramas with postage times. Its to be expected.

Wherever it is, it sure looks like it has the rims/wheels you need?

3.25" is the backspacing. The offset is zero. Backspacing is the dimension from the inner edge of the rim to the wheel mounting surface. Offset refers to the distance from the wheel mounting flange surface to the centerline of the rim. I doubt you'll find a correct repro of this wheel, since there is a small market for restoring 1962 Oldsmobiles. You are far more likely to find a good used set, however.
