New to Olds
New to Olds
Hello everyone. I just traded my brother my 1970 Road Runner for his 75 W30 Hurst Olds! The Olds has 70,000 miles. The paint needs a little help but not much else. I also have a 69 4 spd Hemi Super Bee & a 68 Firebird convertible that I'm in the process of restoring. Looking forward to having fun with the Olds!
I belive the 75 is just T-tops, stripe, hood louvers, Dosen't seem to have much in the way of performance! But it runs great & the air works! I've added pictures of my Firebird, Super Bee & Road Runner that my brother now has. I hope no one is offended! Looking forward to talking everyone here!

According to the price guides, pound for pound, for equivalent levels of condition, a 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner is worth two to three times as much as a '75 H/O.
In #3 condition ("car show" but not showroom), which is probably a bit above the condition of your car as you say it needs a few things, a '75 H/O is worth about $6,000.
In #4 condition (runs and drives but needs complete restoration), a '70 Plymouth Roadrunner 2-door post coupe, which is the least valuable version of this car, is worth almost $8,000. If it's a 2-door hardtop, add another $500. In #3 condition, the Plymouth would be worth almost $18,000.
But he ain't heavy, he's your brother, right?
Hmmm. While your heart is certainly in the right place, I'm not sure the same can be said for your head.

I've been told many times where my head is!! lol
Your right on the money! I think the RR is worth about 8 to 10K
I know the Road Runner is worth a little more that the 75 Olds, but over the years my brother has helped me out & I want to pay him back. The RR is in #4 condition. It's a 2 door hard top and currently has a 440 6 pack installed. I finished my Super Bee in 2007 & I'm in the process of restoring my Firebird. I just can't restore them all!!
