Talking The NEW new guy!

Hey, guys. I am 16, and a good friend of mine and I are restoring a '71 cutlass convertable. It was my mother's, but she didn't get to drive it once before it was taken apart and never put back together by someone she payed to paint, and restore it(it was successfully painted tho!). After she got (most of) the money back from him, and the car with (most of) the parts, she gave it to my uncle, along with $6000 dollars to restore it. Long story short, the money's gone and it sat for 10 years, losing a few parts along the way. 10 years later, it's sitting in my garage, waiting to be rebuilt! debaiting on dropping a 455 in it, or sticking with a 350. I'll have pics soon, and I hope to see some help from you guys. I'll need it!(:

Love to see classics have not fallen off the map to the younger generation. I got my first Cutlass when I was 18. Don't be stupid like me and sell it!! Good luck.

This car is definately not going to end up sold, or overdone. And I come from a family of grease monkeys. It's kinda hard to stay away from cars as wonderful as this one. I'll get pics up by tomorrow.(:

Eh, if you can't trust family, who can you trust? Gotta do everything yourself. (: and I'm trying to get pics up, but it's rejecting me. May have to downsize them.
