Hi, My name is Lucas, and I'm in Missoula MT. I've had quite a few classic cars in my life, including Oldsmobiles, and my current fleet includes a 1960 Coupe Deville, 1970 Coupe Deville, 1974 F100 daily driver/autocross truck, and my 1972 Mach 1 I've had since I was 12. The reason I'm here is this spring, I'll be getting the 2nd "cool" car I've ever owned back that I had to sell in the early 2000s to a friend of mine for financial reasons. It's a 1971 Delta 88 with a W-30 455 that I was the 2nd owner of (still am, I guess, as the title was never transferred). I sold it to my buddy, and now he wants my '70 Coupe Deville from me, so we are working out a trade. He was stationed in Qatar at the time during the 2nd Gulf War, and the car is still parked in the exact same spot I left it in his parent's shop back in 2004, so I am still the last person to sit in or drive the car. There really wasn't any forums back then, but I'm glad to be here now. I've also owned a '70 98 455, a 1978 Delta 88, an '82 Delta 88, and a '78 Cutlass Supreme as far as my Olds experiences. Here's a few pics of my current cars, some of my others that have gone away, and some of the Delta 88 I'll be getting back and where it sits now. The pic of a pic is the only one I have of the car from back then, and was taken during our local small town parade. Anyway, happy to be here, and look forward to getting to know everyone. I'm friends with a few guys here that are also on V8Buick.com, and they are who directed me here to you. Thanks!
Welcome to the site, nice group of cars/trucks. I do however especially love the 60 Cadillac, those are just rolling pieces of art.
Hey, thank you . Yeah, I always wanted a '60, and once I got done building the Riviera after 3 years I sold it to fund the Caddy, and bought it as a 40th birthday present to myself last year. Was a nice stock car when it showed up, been doing the mild custom thing to it for the last 10 months.
Welcome to the group... Very impressive/diversified fleet of vehicles... Just love the lines of the 60 Caddy...
Thank you, I've never been a brand loyal kind of guy, but Fords, Cadillacs, Buicks, and Oldsmobiles have always been what I've gravitated to. I've also got a couple lifted trucks, but didn't figure they'd "fit"
Welcome Lucas! Happy New Year, hope your trip home went well.
Hey Frank! Yep all good, great vacation for Christmas visiting the family....dang there's a lot of us "crossbreeds" here hahaha.....and Happy New Year to you, my friend!
