New member in Virginia with 1969 442 convertible
New to this site. Looks like lots of good information and expertise. I recently (last weekend) bought a 1969 442 convertible that I intend to restore in my garage. A long term project. When I grew up, a neighbor had one of these and I always liked it. When I saw it for sale, I decided to go for it. The unfortunate thing is it has sat for 10 years after being rear ended. The great thing is I bought it off the original owner, all the numbers match, and everything is there. I'm positive I will be coming back to this site many times looking for information to help me with my project.

Sounds like a great car to rescue and restore! Sorry to hear about the rear-end damage. We'd like to see photos in spite of this (at least of the front end!).
