My name is Tim and I live in Smithfield, North Carolina. ~ 25 miles east of Raleigh.
I purchased a project 1970 Cutlass S convertible about 8 months ago and have been planning and purchasing items for this car so that I can get it to a quality standard vehicle. Notice I didn't say completed project as I'm not sure if a project of fun is every completely finished. I joined this forum so I could communicate with other Olds enthusiasts and learn as much as I can about vendors and swap meets and tips for making the car as beautiful and correct as I possibly can and by doing the bulk of this with my own two hands. I'm looking forward to communicating with all who share the same interest in their car as I do with mine. It was my highschool dream car and one finally became available at a time in my life when I can enjoy the process of making it a reality.

Thank you. I lived in Tacoma area for three years early 70's. Loved Washington.

Welcome Neighbor! I think that you'll find this site full of useful information and great people willing to share it. Also, a great source for parts, reference material, vendor references, etc, etc, etc. There are a few other Oldsmobiles guys around our area but the number seems to be growing which is great. Maybe time to think about a local Olds club. Good Luck with the 70 and I'll keep an eye out for you.
