Greetings everyone. I just purchased my first Olds in November. It's a 70 Cutlass convertible. It is a 350 auto with air. Car is in nice drivers condition. I will need to rebuild or replace the engine. Smokes and leaks.
I have restored several cars in the past (Chevelles & Corvettes) an most of my parts collection is for these vehicles.
I am currently in the hunt for an engine and would like to upgrade to a 400 or 455. I will take all suggestions.

Welcome
Welcome to the site and the 70 convertible club. I just dropped a rebuilt SBO in mine. I don't plan on racing, but have a decent cam, intake and headers, with a 750cfm Q-jet, it will produce enough fog for me. IMHO, If you are set on a BBO, go with the 455.
