Hi Everyone,

Longtime Olds fan getting back into the fold, been nearly 20 years since selling our last 442, now we're back with two.

- Frame off fully loaded '70 442 ragtop, all numbers matching, red on black
- Recently purchased '68 442 hardtop, all numbers matching, original 83K miles, black on red.

The '70 has an interesting history. We bought in El Paso in 1996, as a clapped out, running project. Sold it 1999 in Houston. Owner blew it completely apart, and after 10 years of trying to fix my mistake, bought it back in boxes, and many, many parts. Just wrapping up an extensive, frame off resto, and while costing a pile, what an incredible car it has become. After 21 years, Hitting the shows this Fall.

Here's more on the '68 442. It's an original 83K never been out of Texas car. Black on red, with the original vinyl top. Working AC, PS, PDB, gauges, wood wheel, buckets and console. Was repainted in the '80's, otherwise a well maintained original. Just a great driving and looking car.

While 66 and 67's are my favorite year, 68's are next on my list. Sweet ride.

Thanks for the comments. I've always been a '66 guy, in fact my old '66 Cutlass 4 sipped ragtop is still on 442.com. Never had a '68 before, and after buying this one, realized how much I've been overlooking these great cars. Here's the '70. Fully (nearly) loaded, Matador Red on black, all matching numbers, but no docs. W-25, SS II's, Auto, PS, PDB, AC (not all there yet), Gauges, Tilt, AM-FM, Sport Wheel and Mirrors, PW, PDL, Power Seat, Power Trunk, 3.23 posi, buckets and console. 2nd week Sept '69 build date. Correct '70 fenders and lots of date coded parts hunting went into this one. Had door edge guards, but not putting them back on -- personal preference. Frame off resto, still needing several 'projects' finished, if these things ever are. Will be an estate car....
