I've owned my "68 Delta Custom for over a year. This site has been tremendously interesting and helpful to me. Although I don't work on my car personally, I hope that I can pass on at least some of my experiences with my car as well as receiving advice from people who've had the same. I've always loved Oldsmobiles!

Welcome aboard! Great to have another LARGE Olds in the group. We'll get our passports out and be on Pelee Island on Canada Day. My wife has a bunch of Canadian relatives on Pelee and we always try to make the trip to Sandusky and take the "Pelee Islander" for the festivities.
The parades, the food. and of course, the Molson's!
Welcome again from South Carolina

Thank you. I found it in Ohio 18 months ago and after some negotiation during that winter, I bought it in Feb 09 and drove it home in Apr'09. That owner had only put about 3,000 miles on it in over 10 years based on the title information that I received. This car is identical in model & colour to my dad's 68 Delta Custom that he owned from 1968 to 1971. I loved that car but never thought that I could find the same one as his, let alone in such beautiful condition. My father is still in excellent health so you can well imagine the thrill that it's been for him as well as me to let him drive it a few times! Needless to say, this car is very special to me.
