Hi,My name is Jim I finally got around to joining.I have own oldsmobiles since I was 17.Now at 51 I still have my 73 442,455,4 speed which has been in the family since 1975.Also a 76 Cutlass S,350,auto and a 75 98 4 door.I look forward to reading all the good info on this site.

Welcome to the site! I am a long time Olds fan and owner, too, but I have only been a member here for a few months. The members here are very knowledgeable about any topic you can think of and will save you a lot of time solving problems or finding parts. be sure to post pictures of your cars because everyone wants to see what you have.

A factory V code 442 is a rare beast. Please post pics.
Also if you are not aware there is 73-77 specific site that you should also join

Welcome to CO, Jim! Yep, pictures when you get a chance. Looks as if we (those of us in North Texas) are going to have a few days to look at pictures, read articles, watch TV, listen to the radio, twiddle our thumbs due to the ice/sleet/frozen rain mixture that is EVERYWHERE today. Low tonight of 25, driveway is F-R-O-Z-E-N solid, almost slipped just now. Saturday night down to 16-17 - now that's COLD! Also bored with the inactivity. LOL!
