New Member 72 Cutlass Supreme

My name is Grayson I live on the Sunshine Coast, Australia and I am the owner of a 72 Cutlass Supreme convertible. I got the Olds off my old man where it had been trapped in the shed for 17 years.

Yes it is right hand drive convertible.

My old man purchased the car in Canada and shipped it to Australia in the 80's, he converted it to right hand drive.

There is a couple of rust spots on the bonnet and rear end. All of the interior is in great shape, and no leaks in the roof. Nearly all of the chrome has oxidization. The engine hasn't been running in about 12 years.

I am flushing the radiator this afternoon and checking the leads and spark. She should run after that. I'll take some more pics this afternoon.

Welcome aboard. Got that baby from here eh??
I'd love to see some pics of how the conversion on the car is set up.

Starting the engine is one thing, just make sure you attend to all the other safety issues like brakes, exhaust, cooling, suspension, steering, glass, trans, fuel lines etc before you put it in gear and roast the pavement.

Welcome to the site Grayson, from New Jersey, USA!!

Your new ride is very cool on several levels....nice color combo, interesting history, it's half-a-world away from where it was born and, oh yeah, right-hand drive!! Awesome.

Good luck with it!

Welcome from Texas. Can you share some
interior pics? R/H drive is somewhat
of a treat to see over here.
