Thumbs up New member!!!

Hi everyone!

I've been lurking the forums for a few weeks now, and figured I should join.
I'm restoring an 1951 Oldsmobile Rocket 88. I've worked on cars before but never tried a job like this. My car is VERY rough, but its keeping me out of trouble (except with my girlfriend) I have every piece of trim and all the rest of the little pieces that most old cars are missing. I have a MILLION questions and I'm going to need lots of help/advice. Hope I don't bug you guys with the rookie questions. I'll be using the search for most of my needs, and if i can't find the info I'll post my question. Thanks in advance!!!

Welcome to the site! There's not as many of the early 1950's cars as 1960's and 70's but there's a lot of knowledgeable people on this site. Good Luck, and have fun with your project! John

Welcome to our site. From the thumbnail it looks like the car has a flame job on it. I had to click on it to see it is natural patina.

check this thread out.
