new member and a 1968 Cutlass S

Hello everyone. and as the title says im new to the forum and I just picked up a 1968 Cutlass S. I am looking to put the car back to original. It is not a H/O, 442 or even a convertible. It is a nice solid body car that has been neglected far to long. As my user name suggests I am always working on a project. Unfornunatly I never get them totaly finished and turn around and find something else that I like and sell them and buy a new rusty one, but hey it keeps things interesting. I Had a 1969 Cutlass convertible years ago and was sorry the day that I sold it. I am hoping with some guidence from the Olds gurus on here that I will do my car justice. I will post pictures when I can. Thanks in advance for everyones help. neveridle

Well, before you get to far into this project, I'll give you my opinion. Going by what you said, was the regret about the year 1969 or being a convertible or both. I'm thinking more because of selling a convertible. You should really start with the car you really like/want to keep. Why put the time/effort/money in a car that's not your first choice. Good luck either way.

Unfortunatly, I want to keep all the cars I have ever obtained,Lol! and by my words I men"t that i had enjoyed the 69 so much I wished i did not have to sell it but life gets in the way sometimes.I am partial to the 68-69 body style, but I like numerus years and models of GM, Ford and mopars. Thanks alot for the advice anyways and all the welcome comments! neveridle
