Hello all,
While new to this site, I am not so new to olds. My first car was a 70' Sherwood Green holiday coupe with white bench seat. Sold it after college. I was the previous owner of a beautiful 69' 37k Trophy Blue 442 that was totaled in October of 2007 when I was rear ended by a kid in a pickup truck. I am currently working on a 70' post coupe that I purchased, because I was leary of driving the 69'. In hindsight, I wish I had driven it more. I also have a 67' Buick GS400 that is in the on deck circle. I look forward to "meeting" another group of sick "Olds" people.

Warning large pics!

You asked for it. I hope you have a strong stomach for some of these.

Let's get the painful ones out of the way first. My 69' at the scene. I really don't like to talk about it much. I have moved on.

Welcome

Welcome aboard

Ouch,

It looks like the 69 brakes worked better than the guy behind ya.

What are your plans for the 69?

Welcome, James!
One look at the pic, and "that sick feeling" returned as I recognize it from when you posted on the Brand X site after it happened.
Glad to hear you're bouncing back, and getting on with things. Post Coupes rule!!
What did you end up doing with the '69?

Awsome cars. That is an ultimate bummer that the dude hit your 69. It hurts looking at those pics.

Ouch, that rear end picture brings back some old sad memories. Had a 71 Roadrunner that was parked in front of my girls house. About 4am I heard a loud crash and run outside to find my car up on the front lawn. Some drunk girl in a Ford LTD hit the back end at about 70mph. Too bad she had a seat belt on.

Sad deal to loose a great looking Olds. The good news is you have a replacement. The Buick is nice too

No doubt there was an element of speed involved in the rear ender, eh? What a shame!
