New here bought a '75 Cutlass Salon

Hello, All
New here, and just bought my 2nd '75 Cutlass.. !st one was in the late 80's and was The normal 50.00 car it needed floors and a transmission, It got a junkyard th350 and drove the wheels off it, rainy days you got wet if you hit a puddle. The car had a 260 v8 and was tired..

This one is much better.. But will need some TLC It is a 350 v8 and th350
Hope to learn and make it as good as it can be..

Do you have swivel or reclining seats? I had a 75 Cutlass S as my first car with swivel seats and a console. I also had the wonderful 260 in that car. It topped out at 70 mph...my foot to the floor and it wasn't going any faster...lol.

Thanks guys..
Pictures when I get it here..
As for the seats.. they are buckets.. but don't look to swivel , most likely if anything recline.. and I'm not sure on that.. It has the console and cloth blue seats and gut..
The driver seat hinge is said to be broken. so that will be job #1..
Picking it up this week and doing the 100+ mile test drive home.. With AAA card in hand just in case..

Sounds like a nice 75, buckets and console is a plus. Looking forward to seeing the pics.
A member here Paladin31 (Brett) is one of the best guys to deal with here when it comes to parts for our colonnade year cars.
Once you get it home and put a list of parts you will be looking for, shoot Brett a PM here and I'm sure he will look after you in the same way he takes care of many of us.
Check all the fluids, belts, hoses etc and have a safe 100+ mile trip. I doubt very much the 75 Olds will let you down.
All the best looking forward to hearing more once you get it home safely.
Eric
