New guy looking for advice on 79 Hurst Olds

Hi everybody. I'm new here and was just looking for advice on my 79 Hurst Olds. I bought it for only $500 but it's in pretty rough shape. I kinda hate to part it out but I don't know if it's worth restoring. What do you guys think?

Welcome to the CO.

Can't really say if it is worth restoring without seeing it, but here is some helpful info on them in general.....

Thanks GAOldsman and cutlassgal. I'll try to get some pics on as soon as I can. I've read quite alot about these and that is why I'm kind of torn as to what to do. It is an original white and gold car. I originally was looking and bought this car for the seats and other parts for my '72 Cutlass. Here is a little rundown of it's problems. The previous owner tried to start restoring it and stripped almost all of the paint off and removed the head and tail lights. Then he parked it outside at his parents house where the passenger window was broken out and it sat for a couple of years exposed to weather and their dogs climbing in and on it and chewing on the wiring for the lights.

That looks like a big project. Did it come with the front header panel and grilles?

Thanks for your reply crazy'boutOlds. I have those parts with it, they were just removed at the same time as the other parts by the previous owner
