New guy from KS

Hey everyone,
Got a new guy here both to the Olds world and the forum world. I purchased an original 72 Cutlass Supreme convertible just a few months ago. I purchased it and was just going to fix a little rust and drive it as a true survivor but she seems to be surprising me with a little more work than I expected. I am looking forward to the work but am hoping that I will be able to get a little help and a few pointers as I work through my repair list.

Welcome, post some pictures of your car and ask your questions in the appropriate forum. Plenty of knowledgeable folks here.

Been there. Welcome aboard. I got a few surprises with mine too but it sure is fun to drive. Parts are available through online vendors. post some pics. Good luck.

I'm right there with ya on the "finding more problems as you go". Seems to be an unending trip! Keeps one on their toes, though. +4 on the pics!

Here are a few pics of the Cutlass. It is in pretty good shape for being an all original car that spent several years under a tarp in a storage lot. I went through and decoded the vin and the trim tag and everything is original. It even has the number matching engine. Of course it will need new rear quarters and the floorpan on the driver side has some rust up front. It start, runs, drives nice. I got married a couple months ago and we drove it to and from the wedding with the top down.
