Welcome to CO Frank. Two Oldsmobiles...you're gonna fit right in. Lots of folks need their pics fix. Sounds like the '73 is complete and the '84 is a project? Have fun with the build.

My 73 Cutlass ,
I purchased this car earlier last year and this is how I bought it and drove it home . The paint is 3 years old and is the original colour , The frame has been replaced at the time of body work and all body lines are near perfect .
Powered by a great running 350 Olds with A/C ( works great ) , since I bought it I installed headers and a Summit 2 1/2 dual exhaust system ( not the greatest fit but will do for now until I upgrade to a brand name exhaust or custom exhaust $$ ) . However , it really woke up the engine and is a pleasure to drive this car and absolutely love it .
I will be installing a set of old style cragar rims this spring and should look awesome , I puchased a center console and shifter assembly and may even get crazy and install my husrt dual gate if time permits this summer . Thanks for looking .

Just do a reply to this thread using the quote option saying something like "here are the photos..." and then scroll down to 'additional options' just below the message window where you will see another window "Attach Files" and click on "Manage Attachments" which will lead you to another window where you can select photos from your computer and add them. Note: there is a limit of about five photos (I think) and size is limited so it is good to edit your photos ahead of time to about 1/2 meg or less. .jpg format seems to work best. The photos will attach as thumbnails. You can then shut down the manage attachment window, preview your post if you wish or just click on the 'submit reply' and voila! we all have photos of your car to enjoy.

Thanks
Ya, I hated the steering wheel too and swapped it the next day with an original ralley wheel from a 72 Cutlass that I had saved for 20 years .
The Monte Carlo rims will be for sale very soon , They are in great shape but not a fan of them at all .

You're welcome
You're welcome Frank. Back when I started a few years ago on CO some one helped me learn to post photos so I try to do the same. My reward in this case is I get to see your great looking Oldsmobile. Wow! It was very smart of who ever had it painted to leave it the stock color. A real PITA to change color correctly.

THAT is some good info. I have been here for YEARS and never knew that. I have been going thru the long painful process of putting computer pix onto photobucket.com then bringing a link here and using the yellow "postcard"? icon tool to insert photos within a post.
It'd be nice if there were a User's Guide for the new/clueless among us.
Oh, and 461Olds, welcome
but, what are you trying to pull- there is no "461" Olds !!

ask 'em what they think "a 442" is... presumably they are thinking "a big engine". Then you can explain that the original 442's had little bitty 330 engines, how it varied every year- including a standard 350 2bbl engine in 1972, etc.
