New guy here

Howdy, folks, glad to visit this place and absorb some knowledge rather than the in-fighting that goes on in other places. . . um, does it happen here too?

Anyway, I signed up a few weeks ago and something happened where my wrong email was used, so I never got the confirmation email. I emailed an administrator but never received a response. What's up wit dat?

Quick rundown . . . I'm a Pontiac guy who owns a 1970 Olds 4-4-2 ragtop, which I bought when I was 15. I'm happy to be a part of the Olds fraternity, and I lust for a '69 W-31 and a '68 W-30 ('69 looks better, but the '68 has that sweet stripe!) even though prevailing wisdom suggests the '70 (or '69 H/O) is the best of the bunch.

Anyway, I hope to learn a lot here . . . if I have the time to get sucked into another site.

Welcome Diego, Lots of good people are over here. Drama is pretty limited so you might get bored if you are used to the bickering

PS I am a car guy in general but Pontiac is also at the top of my list.

Talking Welcome to CO

Glad to have you aboard. Pretty tame bunch here, lots of great info and people willing to help each other out. The 69'ers now thats another story they can get a little wild like Jamsbo aka "the bear"

Welcome to CO Diego.

What sweet '68 stripe is that? The one on the fender?

I often just start wondering out of the blue where it's exact and precise factory correct placement should be.

Welcome aboard! Great guys here willing to help and not put anybody down because they didn't know. NO DRAMA here from what I've seen that's why I hang around this site and gave up on the others.
Post some pics of your Olds when possible. We like pics here
